Hello & welcome to one of my last blog posts of 2018. It’s been a busy year again & I have been privileged to photograph almost 50 weddings this year throughout the UK.
It has taken me far & wide but today I am actually going to show you a slightly older wedding. The reason for this is the couple have just confirmed their wedding album with me & it is now being printed.
Couples often take a long time to come back to me with their selections for their final album, and when I got this one through I realised I didn’t feature it on the blog when it took place. So here it is:
I started at the house beforehand, which was a beautiful conversion:
From there we went on to a nearby church:
Leaving the church can often produce some of the best natural photographs of the day:
I find myself working in the Manchester area every now & then, & it is an area I love to work in.
While the venue (The Crimble in Rochdale) is technically a restaurant, it is set within a beautiful old building & has quite extensive grounds. Which came in handy for the bride & groom portraits:
Sometimes the quiet moments are the most genuine, & if you pay attention you can capture such a moment. This was my favourite photograph of the day, I hope you like it:
